Are you an experienced Property Accountant looking for a challenging role within a dynamic and progressive company? We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Senior Property Accountant to join our team. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced team of professionals in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of property accounting, including CAM reconciliations, Yardi, and fund accounting.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Property Accountant, you will be tasked with:
1. Overseeing and conducting all aspects of property accounting, including CAM reconciliations, Yardi, and fund accounting.
2. Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Coordinating with property management teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of property-level financial data.
4. Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
5. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
6. Collaborating with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
7. Providing support during external audits and tax preparation.
8. Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Senior Property Accountant role, you must have:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in property accounting, with a focus on CAM reconciliations, Yardi, and fund accounting.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
9. A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they arise.
10. Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
11. CPA certification is preferred but not required.
