Duration: 1 year contract with possible extension
Pay Range: $85 - 99/hour on w2

Job Description: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, direction, management, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects according to specifications, within budget, from initiation through completion. The Senior Project Manager leads joint project teams (JPTs), applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to guide project teams, and controls project schedule, cost, and performance risk to ensure the project is completed within defined constraints (e.g., time, budget, people, quality, materials) and at a high level of quality.
This role is generally assigned large, multifaceted projects. The Senior Project Manager serves as the single point of contact regarding a specific project and assumes the leadership role in safely managing the project.

Budget Responsibility:

• Capability to manage large project budgets over *** million, or a portfolio of projects with an aggregate total over *** million for all active projects assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent education, training, and/or related work experience
  Master’s degree preferred but not required.

Certification/License:

• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) within one year of appointment or assuming the Senior PM position. (See SPP-34.018 for exceptions/extensions of the one-year timeframe.)
• Demonstrated desire to excel in the professional field of study, as evidenced by certification/licensure in the professional field preferred but not required (e.g., PE, CPA, CFP, etc.).
