Job TitleLead the transformation of a historic, multi-building urban campusJob DescriptionPlan, budget, schedule, and execute multiple concurrent capital construction projects. Support the Director of Construction in implementing the long-term campus master plan. Define project scope, goals, timelines, and procurement strategies from preconstruction through closeout. Lead coordination with architects, engineers, consultants, ownership, and tenants. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, design teams, and stakeholders. Proactively identify risks, cost drivers, and constructability issues; implement mitigation strategies. Oversee and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Superintendents. Manage subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and performance. Track project costs, schedules, RFIs, change orders, and work-in-place. Prepare and present conceptual and detailed cost estimates with clear assumptions. Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA standards, life-safety requirements, and quality controls. Lead jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professional standards across an active, occupied environment. Review and approve subcontractor invoices, monthly AIA billings, and payment applications. Extensive background in commercial construction, renovations, or adaptive reuse. Strong leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams. Advanced proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, and Bluebeam. Deep understanding of building codes, life-safety systems, and OSHA standards. Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments. Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
