Senior Project Manager - Ground Up Multi-Family Construction

All of their work is local to Chicago and nearby communities. Their typical projects range from $60M to $80M, with an intentional push toward larger $100M+ opportunities. They benefit from deep repeat‑client partnerships and maintain a steady, reliable backlog.

Description

• Lead large scale commercial, healthcare & education ground up projects from inception through completion
• Report directly into the Director & President of Construction
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, design teams, and subcontractors while ensuring quality and safety
• Manage contracts, RFIs, change orders, and submittals using modern project management tools
• Partner with estimating and procurement during preconstruction and support continuous improvement
• Deliver projects ranging from $$20M+ within a strong, $500M+ pipeline

Profile

• 10+ years of construction project management experience, including ground-up new construction.
• Proven ability to run projects valued while managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and clients.
• Skilled in Procore, MS Project, or other project management tools.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, permitting, and construction processes; background in estimating or field supervision is a plus.

Job Offer

• Base salary: $150-200K, based upon experience
• All in package: $250k+
