Job Overview:As a Senior Electrical Project Manager at CMD Electric, you will play a pivotal role in executing electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to contract requirements, and building strong relationships with both internal team members and clients. This position requires a disciplined and collaborative professional with a proventrack recordin electrical project management.
Responsibilities:
Establish and execute projectobjectivesand performance standards in alignment with corporate policies.
Lead and oversee all aspects of construction, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Participate in contract negotiations and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
Manage and administer contracts, including change orders and claims resolution.
Develop andmaintainrelationships with internal team members and clients, fosteringa high levelof credibility.
Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and potential challenges to clients.
Develop, manage, andmonitorproject budgets to ensure financialobjectivesare met.
Identifycost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety standards.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
Strong leadership capabilities
Qualifications:
6+ years of electrical project management experience in public works, federal, or private projects with individual contract values exceeding $5 million and portfolios exceeding $20 million. Multi-family experiencea plus!
Preferably holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related fields. Field experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
