Senior Project Manager – Data Center Construction

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large scale Data Center Construction projects from planning through execution. In this role, you will oversee project operations, financial performance, scheduling, team leadership, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Reporting to executive leadership, this individual will play a key role in driving successful project delivery across complex mission critical environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with company, client, and project standards
  • Maintain job site safety and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Prepare estimates and review project proposals
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
  • Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with design, budget, and schedule requirements
  • Partner closely with clients to manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Support procurement efforts and material delivery timelines
  • Lead billing and collections efforts throughout project execution
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
  • Build and maintain strong client and employee relationships
  • Assist leadership with labor forecasting and project planning
  • Provide consistent reporting and financial updates to senior leadership
  • Manage project scopes, RFPs, budgets, and change management documentation
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Drive continuous improvement across project operations and leadership initiatives

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Construction Project Management experience
  • 5+ years managing Electrical Construction projects supporting large scale IT or Telecommunications Infrastructure environments, including Data Centers
  • Experience with Data Center electrical distribution systems, cabling, and white space fit out
  • Experience supporting retrofit work within operational critical facilities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under deadlines
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Comfortable learning and working within new systems and software platforms

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mission Critical project experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • PMP or similar project management certifications
  • Experience with project management, CRM, or estimating software platforms
