The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a contract opportunity with a growing manufacturing organization in Franklin, MA. This role will be responsible for managing multiple customer projects from initial quote through production and delivery while serving as the primary liaison between customers, engineering, purchasing, production, and technical teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within a manufacturing environment and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously, ensuring successful execution of scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate activities between customers, sales, engineering, purchasing, production, and field technical teams.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings, design reviews, status updates, and project closeout meetings.
  • Oversee project quoting, engineering design reviews, change management, and production planning activities.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, roadblocks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, approvals, records, and archiving processes.
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly order status reports and participate in quarterly account reviews.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and project leadership.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout production, inspection, and RMA processes.
  • Coordinate customer audits both onsite and remotely as required.
  • Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with procurement and supply chain teams to manage material requirements, delivery schedules, and long lead-time components.
  • Utilize Kanban methodologies to improve workflow efficiency, material planning, and product availability.
  • Track and analyze project performance metrics including cycle time, lead time, and work-in-progress (WIP).
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Engineering, Business, or Analytical discipline.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating engineering, production, supply chain, and customer-facing activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred
  • Experience with Kanban, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Background working with engineering change management processes.
  • Experience supporting customer audits and quality initiatives.
Pay is up to $50 per hour DOE
