The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of hospitality and commercial construction projects, including hotels, boutique properties, and restaurant builds. This role requires a seasoned construction leader who can manage complex projects from preconstruction through closeout, align teams around aggressive schedules, and ensure high-end finishes that meet brand standards and ownership expectations.

Our client is a close-knit midsize general contractor in the Los Angeles Area. They have been around for almost 5 decades and created a very reputable name for themselves. They specialize in ground-up Commercial, Healthcare, Education and more project types. Projects are typically in the $1-20 Mil range. They are looking to grow more into the Commercial market and want a senior leader to join their team to help with the expansion. Description
Our Senior Project Manager will:
Oversee project management team and manage the day-to day operations
Ability to make decisions that consider both schedule and budgets
Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors
Manage scope review process
Negotiate change orders
manage permit and occupancy with government agencies
Manage and update budgets
Conduct regular status meetings with project team
Deliver projects on time and within company profit targets

Profile
The ideal Senior Project Manager will:
7-10+ years as a Project Manager with a General Contractor
Bachelor's Degree (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management is plus)
Hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or high‑end interior project experience strongly preferred
Proven leadership of project teams, including Superintendents and PM staff
Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor buyout
Excellent client-facing, communication, and negotiation skills
Strong financial and cost-control acumen
OSHA certification preferred
