Our Client, a Commercial Banking company, is looking for a Senior Project Manager for their Charlotte, NC location.

Responsibilities:

This position will be a core member of a product delivery pod, partnering closely with engineering, AI specialists, and LOB stakeholders within a cross-functional team composed of product, engineering, and business representatives focused on delivering AI-enabled capabilities.
Manage end-to-end project delivery across workstreams using Client PMLC methodology, including milestone tracking, schedule management, and governance compliance.
Maintain and publish weekly status reports (Friday cadence), TDO weekly PRJ updates (Wednesday), and executive-level risk/issue logs in SharePoint.
Coordinate cross-functional dependencies across engineering, security, business operations, and LOB specialist teams to keep delivery on track within the 210-day program timeline.
Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives with delivery leads; track critical path items and escalate blockers to leadership.
Own and maintain the assumptions register, risk inventory, and scope change documentation; ensure assumption changes go through explicit review (no informal drift).
Support vendor onboarding coordination, intake governance workflows, and TDO reporting requirements.

Requirements:

5+ years of IT project management experience delivering technology programs in a large enterprise or regulated environment.
Hands-on experience with structured project delivery frameworks (PMLC, Agile/Scrum, or SAFe) including milestone tracking, risk management, and status reporting.
Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional stakeholder communication — engineering, security, operations, and business leadership.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Teams).
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce executive-ready status updates and decision memos.
Plus/Nice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences:
Prior experience in financial services, banking, or other heavily regulated industries.
Familiarity with AI/ML program delivery, agentic systems, or enterprise AI platform builds. PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification.
Experience supporting startup-speed delivery inside a large enterprise (internal innovation labs, accelerators, or transformation programs).
Exposure to TDO/PRJ reporting structures or Client enterprise governance processes.
