DescriptionGraham & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team. The Senior Project Engineer will complete professional/technical engineering reviews, assessments, inspections, and other engineering assignments, and deliver this data in formats and in applications that support critical planning, engineering and decision support activities across the enterprise. This position will be working directly with the Client, Teaming Partner and other Engineering Staff supporting Water and Wastewater Projects.RequirementsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan, review designs and oversee construction of infrastructure and structures.Undertake technical and feasibility studies including site investigationsUse a range of computer software for developing detailed designsComplete complex calculationsLiaison with clients and a variety of professionals including engineers and subcontractorsCompile job specs and supervising tendering proceduresResolve design and development problemsManage budgets and project resourcesMaking sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safetyAssess the sustainability and environmental impact of projectsEnsure projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on timeAccess and analyze technical and operational data from multiple data sources (e.g., BIMS, REVIT, GIS systems, etc.), and reconcile data between systemsUndertake data input and production of digital maps, surveys, engineering drawings, and special database reportsAssist with the preparation or review of project documentation, as directed, (e.g. presentations, sketches, drawings, maps, technical memoranda, meeting records, etc.)Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and design staff.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Georgia required.Minimum of 20 years of extensive water/wastewater project management experience10+ years at the Project Manager level on projects or programs in the water/wastewater and construction fields.Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other relevant design softwareExperience in the use of 3D software to model civil engineering design, including but not limited to Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.Experience in essential computer programs including Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe Acrobat.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience either orally or written.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsBenefits:Competitive salaryGroup Insurance (health, vision, dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance)Retirement Savings plan with employer matchEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Paid Time OffPaid HolidaysProfessional development and licensure supportPlease note: Graham & Associates is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
