You can participate in this long-term plan after you complete 1 year of service (with at least 1,000 hours).Vehicle/Vehicle allowance, fuel card, and toll pass.Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with project architects, designers, owners, subcontractors and field personnel.Responsible for generating Request for Information (RFI) and submittals.Manage project subcontractors including coordination, procurement of materials and equipment, monitoring budget and cost, manage billings, etc.Act as the information hub to ensure continuity of work.Offer technical information to project supervisor to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.Prepare and execute subcontracts and subcontractor change orders, including time extensions. May prepare and execute owner change orders.Primary responsibility to monitor and track project quality control metrics and activities on a regular basis, provide timely and accurate quality reports, and raise issues to Project Manager or Superintendent as appropriate.Inspect all work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.May supervise staff, including establishing and communicating performance expectations, providing positive and constructive feedback, and conducting on-the-job training of project engineers and interns.May be responsible for managing project schedule with the project Superintendent.QualificationsGraduate of a four-year degree program in Engineering or Construction Management.Minimum of 3 years of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity.Full knowledge of computer software, i.e. MS Word, Excel, Project. Knowledge of Primavera scheduling software a plus.Experience with Project Controls software (Timberline, Prolog or equal).Working knowledge Autocad or Revit a plus.Broad knowledge of LEAN and BIM techniques.Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.Good oral and written communication skills.Physical DemandsCapable of traversing over construction-type terrain when under development; moving through the construction site and the materials in place for use on the site; climbing ladders and temporary stairways; conducting visual inspections of quality of construction and materials being used in construction. Conduct jobsite walks to ensure successful project completion. Conduct jobsite walks to identify and eliminate safety hazards.Work EnvironmentBNB believes in collaboration, team-building, and a strong supervisor/employee relationship. To accomplish this, the duties of this role are not performed in a remote capacity, and we expect that all employees will complete work in an office/job site setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at the job site.
