The Senior Program Coordinator at the Doris Z. Stone Latin American Library and Research Center (Doris Stone LAL) supports research services, engagement with the public, access to collections, publicity, communications, and outreach services. This position works with the public and also shares administrative assistance for day-to-day activities of the Doris Stone LAL and its staff.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 2 years relevant experience
- Prior experience working in libraries, special collections, archives or other cultural institutions
- Familiarity with Portuguese
- Excellent oral and written command of Spanish and English.
- Academic training in any field of Latin American Studies and/or personal experience working or studying in Latin America.
- Prior experience with or willingness to be trained in the use of imaging equipment and editing software, web applications and social media for publicity and communications.
- Ability to meet Level II Core Technology Competencies as defined here: Core Technology Competencies for Tulane Libraries Employees
- Excellent oral and written command of Spanish and English.
