This position will be responsible for conducting special projects that support the research and community connection mission of Newcomb Institute, including program management and administration, database management and basic data analysis, support with faculty lectures, and research communications. The Senior Program Coordinator will oversee outreach and networking related to Newcomb's research, including working in close collaboration with colleagues, media partners, allied organizations, and outside advisors. They will maintain a database of key partners and student leaders and oversee student workers to support research and program initiatives under the direction of the Director of Research and the Executive Director of Newcomb Institute. This is a one-year grant-funded position, subject to renewal.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor''s degree in the Social Sciences, Liberal Arts, or Public Health, or related field required by date of hire.
Two years of experience in community engagement and/or community organizing and/or program evaluation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Public Health, Social Work, or related field.
Demonstrated program evaluation and database management experience.
Demonstrated experience of successful community engagement for policy impact.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and share responsibility as part of teams.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate partnerships and networks with scholars, university partners, and community organizations.
Knowledge of the reproductive justice framework and gender equity scholarship.
Experience with and commitment to working with diverse communities.
Organizing experience, connecting community and campus entities, and facilitating community-based projects.
Familiarity with program evaluation and database management
Ability to establish relationships and work cooperatively with students, faculty, staff, and community members. Ability to serve a diverse group of students and constituents
Training on gender equity and intersectionality theory and research
