Description
Responsibilities of the Senior Production Engineering Manager: • Lead and manage a team of test engineers and test engineering technicians. • Coordinate testing activities across multiple lines and projects. • Ensure timely delivery of testing milestones to meet customer requirements. • Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. • Oversee creation and maintenance of test documentation including test cases, scripts, and reports. • Continue improving preventative maintenance plan for testing systems. • Optimize frequency of maintenance on systems by analyzing downtime and yield rates. • Manage test environments and tools. • Design and implement new testing capabilities based on new technology. • Participate or lead defect reduction activities to reduce defect cost, improve testing capability, and optimize test reliability by evaluating CPK data.
