  • Monitor demand trends, actual performance versus forecast, and supplier and distributor inventory levels to ensure optimal supply availability while minimizing waste and excess stock.
  • Identify potential shortages, excess stock, or inefficiencies in the supply chain and resolve a wide range of issues in creative, scalable ways.
  • Develop, publish, and refine reports and dashboards that provide visibility into supply chain performance, trends, and key metrics for leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses, gather data from inventory management systems, procurement platforms, and cloud-based big data environments, and present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with culinary, marketing, finance, procurement, logistics, and restaurant operations to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
  • Continuously improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency within the supply planning function while staying informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain planning and analytics.

Desired traits:

  • Seasoned supply chain professional with a full understanding of end-to-end supply flow who considers upstream and downstream effects and makes effective decisions that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a knack for identifying patterns, drawing insights from large datasets, and communicating findings effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Excels at working cross-functionally with diverse teams, including operations, technology, finance, and business stakeholders, to achieve shared goals.
  • Takes initiative and ownership in identifying and resolving supply chain inefficiencies before they impact profitability.
  • Uses data and analytics to provide actionable insights that improve supply chain performance at scale.
  • Stays current with supply chain innovations, analytics techniques, and emerging technologies.
  • Highly organized and meticulous, ensuring accuracy and precision in data analysis and reporting.
  • Motivated by measurable outcomes and tangible impact on supply chain performance.
  • Candidates must reside in the Greater Los Angeles area and be willing to come into the office 4+ days a week.

Desired experience:

  •  5+ years of progressive experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics, with a Bachelor's degree; or 3+ years with a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience.

our story

Founded in 2007, sweetgreen is a destination for simple, seasonal, healthy food. We believe the choices we make about what we eat, where it comes from and how it’s prepared have a direct and powerful impact on the health of individuals, communities and the environment. That’s why we’re building a transparent supply network, why we cook from scratch, and why we’re building a community of people who support real food.

We’re in the business of feeding people, and we’re out to change what that means.

our core values

These six core values embody our culture, spirit and dedication to doing what’s right. They keep us aligned and help us make decisions about everything from the food we serve to the way we design our stores.

create solutions where the company wins, the customer wins, the community wins.

  • think sustainably

make decisions that last longer than you will.

  • keep it real

    cultivate authentic food and relationships.

  • add the sweet touch

    create meaningful connections every day

  • make an impact

leave people better than you found them.

celebrate your passion and your purpose.

    our mission

Our mission is to inspire healthier communities by connecting people to real food. We know that sweetgreen is a critical link between growers and consumers, and we feel a responsibility to protect the future of real food. To that end, we’re committed to supporting small and mid-size growers who are farming sustainably, to creating transparency around what’s in your food and where it came from, and to creating more accessibility to healthy, real food for more people. Because here at sweetgreen, impact is not an arm of our business, it is our business, and it permeates everything we do, from what we source to who we hire and how we support local communities. We want to make an impact and leave people better than we found them, and we tailor our approach in each market to reflect the needs of the community.
