As a senior member of the product team, your scope of work will be cross-functional and span multiple strategic and platform areas, requiring a high level of independence, ownership, and leadership. You will drive the integration product lifecycle from concept to launch, prioritize release plans, and act as a subject matter expert in both internal and external engagements.
How You’ll Contribute
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and delivery of critical API and integration capabilities within our platform ecosystem. This is a high-impact role requiring a strong mix of product vision, client empathy, technical acumen, and cross-functional leadership. You will play a central role in aligning our platform’s evolution with market needs, client priorities, and long-term business objectives.
The Senior Product Manager operates with a high degree of ownership, balancing independent leadership with strong cross-functional collaboration. They work closely with engineering, design, business stakeholders, and technical writing to deliver scalable, high-impact capabilities to market.
- Define new API endpoints and integration functionality required to meet customer and partner business needs, collaborating with engineering to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Influence and lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and
- Client Services to execute initiatives and resolve issues.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional Scrum teams, including leading backlog refinement, prioritization, and grooming to ensure readiness for sprint planning and delivery.
- Help drive the strategic vision and roadmap for Tamarac integration features and functions, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.
- Recommend and influence product improvements and long-term strategic direction based on industry trends, competitive insights, and direct client feedback.
- Balance innovation with risk management and operational scalability.
- Prioritize and manage product initiatives within your functional domain while ensuring alignment with broader platform goals.
- Work independently through the quarterly release priority list; escalate blockers and risks appropriately to management.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and requirement gathering through release and iteration.
- Problem Analysis and Solution Identification – work with clients, potential clients, strategic technology partners, and internal teams to identify and define robust, scalable, repeatable integration solutions using Open ENV technology.
- API Solution Implementation – as needed, work with Open ENV consumers to ensure they are implementing an efficient solution using available best practices; establish and attend regular meetings to answer questions about the implementation; provide sample workflows and Postman collections where required.
- Client and Prospect Support – Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Support to define go-to-market strategies and enablement materials for new capabilities.
- Launch Management – ensure strategic partners are prepared for release of new products and functionality within Open ENV and the Tamarac Platform.
- Goals and metrics – establish goals to identify opportunities; define and monitor KPIs to evaluate feature adoption, usage, and success.
- May provide mentorship and training to product management team.
What You’ll Need to Bring
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-8 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in Agile Product and Development disciplines
- At least 3 years of experience with integration technologies, including APIs, SSO, open platform capabilities; prior success implementing APIs to solve large-scale customer business problems
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across clients, cross-functional teams, and external partners
- Passion for clean solution design, clear, and concise documentation
- Ability to solve complex problems in a simple, repeatable way
- Business savvy with a technical inclination
- Strong accountability and the desire to always improve
- Extreme attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and to thrive in a project-based environment across multiple lean teams
