Senior Product Manager, IBP
Salt Lake City, Utah
Contract-to-Hire
$75 to $80 per hour contract with a conversion salary of $160K to $170K annually + bonus

Summary
The Senior Product Manager, IBP will serve as a strategic partner within the IT organization, owning technology solutions that enable and advance Integrated Business Planning across the enterprise. This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with technology strategy, identifying capability gaps, and driving cross-functional execution from concept through delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep experience supporting IBP, forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning initiatives, along with strong leadership, agile expertise, and a passion for delivering measurable business value.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and operations leaders to align IBP technology initiatives with strategic objectives and long-term roadmaps.
  • Own the full lifecycle of IT products supporting Integrated Business Planning, including forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning solutions.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into clear product visions, roadmaps, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in applying product management and agile best practices to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Manage agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, iterative delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative enhancements that improve user experience and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors, and suppliers to coordinate delivery, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
  • Ensure product documentation is accurate, accessible, and supports users, support teams, and enablement efforts.
  • Define, track, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs), including business value delivery, user adoption, customer satisfaction, ROI, time-to-market, portfolio performance, cross-functional collaboration, and team engagement metrics.
  • Mentor and coach team members, supporting career development and fostering a collaborative, high-performing product culture.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of direct product management experience , ideally supporting Integrated Business Planning, forecasting, or planning functions.
  • 8+ years of experience in technology or IT management roles with exposure to the full software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience with portfolio strategy development and market analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of agile methodologies and modern product management practices.
  • Experience managing vendors and third-party partners.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including KPI definition, tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

  • Experience supporting enterprise IBP platforms, planning systems, or advanced analytics solutions.
  • Background in agile coaching, team mentorship, or organizational change initiatives.
  • Exposure to emerging technologies and trends impacting planning, forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
