Join AZAD as a Senior Product Compliance Engineer to be a critical partner to the Global Product Compliance team. Your mission: ensure that product designs align with evolving environmental and regulatory standards (think RoHS, REACH, EPA TSCA, PFAS, and beyond). You'll collaboratecross-functionally with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to manage certifications, testing, and documentation.

This is a full-time consultant position based in Irvine, CA with a high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. The hourly pay rate range for this position is $85.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

Essential Functions:

Certify products and assess environmental compliance

Maintain and troubleshoot regulatory approvals

Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) for component-level compliance

Draft and manage compliance documentation for global regulations

Coordinate with internal engineering teams for testing and certification needs

Evaluate test data and recommend specification limits

Minimal travel (up to 5%)

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's in Engineering or Environmental Science (or equivalent)

3+ years of related regulatory/environmental compliance experience

Strong attention to detail and documentation

Preferred:

Experience with Agile, Oracle, or SAP systems

Python coding skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

40% of work may be stationary (desk-based)

Office-based role involving computers and standard office equipment
