Our client is a healthcare/medical device company with a strong commercial presence across North America. They partner closely with physicians and clinical stakeholders to bring innovative products to market and are known for a collaborative, cross-functional culture spanning Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, and Operations. They are seeking a Senior Product Commercialization Manager to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$140k - $185k

Position Overview:
The Senior Product Commercialization Manager will drive the commercial success and strategic direction of a key product category across the North American markets. This person will act as the go-to strategic owner for their category, working across departments to grow adoption, spot new opportunities, and hit business targets. The role carries significant cross-functional leadership responsibility and positions the incoming Senior Product Commercialization Manager as the internal subject-matter expert for their category.

Responsibilities of the Senior Product Commercialization Manager:
  • Drive market adoption, growth, and overall commercial performance for an assigned product category.
  • Build and execute annual business plans along with go-to-market and commercialization strategies.
  • Lead major product launches, enhancements, and clinical or commercial initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Shape product positioning, messaging, and value propositions to support adoption and sales efforts.
  • Spot opportunities for market expansion, specialty growth, and competitive differentiation.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Operations, and Service teams to ensure initiatives launch successfully.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and act as a key decision-maker for category-related initiatives.
  • Track market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy adjustments.
  • Support pricing decisions, customer engagement programs, and sales enablement tools.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and other industry stakeholders.
  • Contribute to clinical studies, publications, and evidence-generation efforts supporting the product category.
  • Represent the category externally at conferences, advisory boards, and customer or educational events.
  • Support internal readiness for launches through training and cross-team communication.
  • Recommend and act on strategies to improve business results based on performance metrics.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Product Commercialization Manager:
  • 6+ years in Product Management, Product Marketing, Commercial Strategy, or a closely related field.
  • Track record leading product launches and commercialization or go-to-market initiatives.
  • Comfortable leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen paired with solid communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open to regular travel for customer meetings, conferences, and field support.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Product Commercialization Manager:
  • Background working directly with physicians, KOLs, or other clinical stakeholders.
  • Exposure to clinical study support, publication development, or portfolio growth strategy.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
