Senior Procurement Representative/Consultant for Client 2 Year Contract Las Vegas, NE (Onsite) Technical & Professional Competencies EPC & Capital Project Procurement Expertise Demonstrated proficiency supporting Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) delivery models for largescale utility and infrastructure projects, including alignment of procurement strategy with engineering maturity, permitting, and construction sequencing. Commercial & Contractual Acumen Strong understanding of EPC, construction, and supplier contract frameworks, including scope definition, commercial risk allocation, pricing structures, securities, and change management in alignment with utility and BHE governance standards. Strategic Sourcing & Competitive Integrity Advanced capability in developing bidder lists, IHR, prepare RFQ, executing RFQs/RFPs, administering competitive bid events, and ensuring sourcing decisions are transparent, defensible, and compliant with internal procurement policies and audit expectations. Negotiation Leadership Proven ability to independently lead complex commercial negotiations with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, balancing cost, schedule, performance, and risk consistent with NV Energys longterm asset and reliability objectives. Evaluation & Award Discipline Skilled in structured proposal evaluation, bid normalization, and preparation of award recommendations suitable for executive review, regulatory scrutiny, and audit requirements. Execution & Delivery Competencies EndtoEnd Procurement Ownership Selfdirected professional who independently manages procurements from sourcing strategy through award and execution, requiring minimal daytoday direction while adhering to established approval, review, and governance processes. Schedule & Risk Awareness Ability to align procurement actions with project schedules, longlead risk, and critical path activities to protect system reliability, cost certainty, and inservice milestones. Change & Commercial Issue Management Capable of supporting EPC and construction change evaluations, identifying commercial impacts, and coordinating resolution paths consistent with contract terms and internal controls. Process & Documentation Rigor Maintains thorough, accurate procurement documentation to support compliance, audits, and future reference across the asset lifecycle. Technical & Package Procurement Expertise Demonstrated experience procuring major thermal plant equipment, including: Steam generators / HRSGs / boilers Steam turbines, gas turbines, generators Balance of Plant (BOP): pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers, condensers Electrical systems: transformers, switchgear, MCCs I&C and DCS systems Ability to manage longlead items, expediting, inspection, logistics, and vendor coordination Strong understanding of technical specifications, data sheets, and vendor drawings in collaboration with Engineering Commercial & Contracting Experience Strong experience with international and domestic sourcing, including INCOTERMS, import/export, and customs considerations Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial terms, including: Liquidated damages (delay & performance) Warranties and guarantees Payment milestones and securities Solid experience with FIDICbased contracts, EPC flowdown terms, and risk allocation Experience managing contracts valued $10M$500M+ depending on project scope Core Experience 1015+ years of procurement experience in energy or heavy industrial EPC environments, with 5+ years supporting largescale thermal power projects Direct experience on EPC / LSTK / EPCM contracts for thermal generation facilities (coalfired, gasfired, simple cycle, combined cycle, biomass, wastetoenergy, CHP) Proven involvement across project phases: FEED, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and closeout Education & Certifications Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field CPSM, CIPS, CSCP, or PMP certification preferred or strongly desired Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
