IDR is seeking a Senior Procurement Consultant to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting procurement activities within a well-established professional services organization, focusing on strategic sourcing and supplier management to optimize procurement processes and outcomes.
Position Overview for the Senior Procurement Consultant:
- Support end-to-end Source-to-Contract procurement activities across Professional Services categories.
- Develop sourcing pipelines, RFx strategies, and bid packages.
- Lead supplier communications and support negotiation activities.
- Conduct market research, category analysis, and procurement benchmarking.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and support sourcing initiatives.
Requirements for the Senior Procurement Consultant:
- Experience supporting Source-to-Contract procurement processes within Professional Services categories.
- Strong background in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier management.
- Experience developing and managing RFx events and supplier bid processes.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
