Our client, a leader in the manufacturing of components for electrical devices such as switches (circuit breakers) and control systems, utilizes molding and metal stamping processes to serve customers in the appliance and electronics industries. The company specializes in the production of high-precision parts for assembly and operates using advanced technologies.
They are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer.

Job Summary

Responsible for designing, optimizing, and controlling manufacturing processes, with a focus on plastic injection molding (scientific molding) for electronic components and power panels. Leads continuous improvement initiatives, process validations, and new product introductions (NPI), ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize injection molding processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cycle time.
  • Establish process parameters using scientific molding methodologies.
  • Lead process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), DOE, and capability studies (Cp/Cpk).
  • Implement improvements using Lean Manufacturing tools (SMED, TPM, OEE).
  • Coordinate with the tool shop on mold design and maintenance.
  • Support new product launches (NPI) and technology transfer activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues using RCA and CAPA methodologies.
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare reports for management.
  • Provide technical mentorship to production and maintenance teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
  • 12+ years of manufacturing experience, with a focus on plastic injection molding.
  • Strong knowledge of scientific molding (RJG preferred).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
  • Background in high-precision manufacturing environments.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
