The Process Engineer will apply continuous improvementmethodologyto enhance plant operations, supporting the specific plant goals in operational effectiveness (OE), job effectiveness (JE), safety, and quality.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement methods for sampling, inspection, testing, and evaluation of products.Initiates process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improvequalityand defect analysisExecute all required duties while practicing safe work methods and adhering to all plant safety rules.Be the driver in investigating, proposing,procuring, and launching new process and operations improvements (flexible automation and manual equipment) by developing specific metrics and conducting necessary audits.Assistin developing technical training plans for process engineering and continuous improvementmethodology(Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)Develop troubleshooting guides for maintenance and operations personnel for line use. Train and deploy these in the plant.Activelyparticipatewith the EHS team to lead projects that improve worker safety and minimize incident risk.Function as a change agent and systematicallydriveandimplementchange through cross-functional efforts between the safety, manufacturing, and quality resources.Develop engineering documentation: PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, etc.Develop andmaintainregular reports consistent with departmental needs to track progress and drive action on plant improvements.Adhere to the policies and procedures of HanwhaQcells.Perform other duties and specialprojects asassigned by management.RequiredqualificationsBachelor's degree in mechanical, material, electrical, chemical, and other engineering5+ years of process engineering experienceRelevant experience within an industrial engineering environment (semiconductor, solar, etc.)Strong organizational and project management skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant softwareProficiencyin Engineering tools (CAD, Statics, Minitab, etc.)Physical QualificationsAbility to stand and walk the production area throughout the workdayAbility tolift upto 50 pounds without restrictionAbility to reach, push, pull, or lift asrequiredwithin limits set by Q CellsAbility to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of timeHanwha Q CELLSprovidesequal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.#J-18808-Ljbffr
