We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core database security capabilities across enterprise and cloud environments. In this role, you will drive product direction for secure connectivity, authentication integrations, and cryptography-related requirements that are foundational to protecting customer data at scale.\n \nThis is a highly technical PM role suited for someone with a strong database administration background who can translate deep security and infrastructure concepts into clear product requirements and customer value. You will work closely with engineering, security, architecture, and field teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable database security solutions.\n \nMust-Have Background & Skills\n\n Database administration experience:\n 3+ years of hands-on experience as a working DBA\n Strong understanding of database fundamentals, operations, and real-world customer environments\n \n\n Cryptography fundamentals:\n Working knowledge of TLS/SSL, common cryptographic algorithms, and FIPS concepts/compliance\n \n\n Authentication fundamentals:\n Solid understanding of enterprise authentication and authorization concepts, including Kerberos, PKI/certificates, and RADIUS\n \n\n Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences\n Strong product thinking with the ability to prioritize and execute in a complex, highly technical space\n \nNice-to-Have Experience\n\n Familiarity with modern cloud identity and authentication patterns, such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)\n Experience integrating with enterprise identity providers (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID or similar)\n Background working with security, compliance, or infrastructure-focused products\n Experience supporting both on-prem and cloud-based enterprise customers\n \nWhy This Role\n\n Own foundational security capabilities that protect customer data at enterprise scale\n Work on technically deep, high-impact problems at the intersection of databases, security, and cloud\n Partner with experienced engineering and security teams in a highly visible product area\n* Opportunity to shape long-term database security strategy across cloud and enterprise environments\n \nOnly Oracle brings together the data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power everything from industry innovations to life-saving care.
