Senior Principal DevOps Orchestration Lead, Infrastructure & Operations

What you’ll do

• Own the automation roadmap across enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Identify and prioritize automation opportunities that reduce manual effort, raise reliability, and improve service quality.
• Codify best practices, standards, and governance for Infrastructure & Operations automation.
• Lead programs from concept through delivery, including design, build, test, and rollout.
• Develop and maintain solutions using PowerShell, Power Automate, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Morpheus, and similar tools.
• Design modular, reusable components that align with enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Report progress, surface risks, and highlight outcomes to both technical teams and executives.
• Maintain high-quality documentation: workflow diagrams, runbooks, and test plans.
• Implement monitoring/reporting to quantify automation benefits (time savings, error reduction).
• Embed security, compliance, and audit controls into every automation.
• Mentor engineers and upskill teams on orchestration patterns and toolchains.

Tech you’ll touch

Windows and Linux platforms; Network, Storage, and Backup domains; VMware, Azure, and Kubernetes; automation/orchestration with Morpheus, Ansible, Terraform; CI/CD enablement with Jenkins and Azure DevOps; scripting with PowerShell and Python; and workflow tooling including Power Automate.

Location & work style

Report to the Manager, I&O Delivery & Process. Primary location is Cranberry Township, PA. This is a hybrid position—3 days on-site and 2 remote each week. Relocation assistance is not available.

Qualifications

• BS in Information Systems (or similar) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years across infrastructure engineering, automation engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
• Hands-on coding in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience spanning Windows/Linux, Backup, Storage, and Network.
• Familiarity with virtualization, cloud, and containers (VMware, Azure, Kubernetes).
• Ability to drive cross-team adoption of shared standards, patterns, and modules.
• Influence teams toward automation-first decisions with demonstrable outcomes.
• 1+ years using Morpheus, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools.

Pay transparency

The base salary for this role is estimated at $116,800 to $146,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and skills. We’re committed to fair and transparent pay practices.
