Senior Preconstruction Manager

Job Title: Senior Estimator – Commercial Construction

Location: Greater Atlanta, GA (Local candidates preferred; open to relocators)

Experience Level: 7-10 years preferred

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator or Preconstruction Manager with a General Contractor (GC) background to join our team in the Greater Atlanta area. This role requires a proven track record in ground-up commercial construction, including public works projects (fire stations, police stations, etc.). You will be responsible for estimating, budgeting, and managing the preconstruction process to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for ground-up commercial projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop preconstruction schedules and budgets.
• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Manage subcontractor solicitation, bid reviews, and cost evaluations.
• Provide value engineering and cost-saving recommendations.
• Lead preconstruction meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• GC Experience Required 
• 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating and preconstruction management.
• Strong background in ground-up projects; diverse commercial experience is essential.
• Experience with public works (fire stations, police stations, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
