Senior Plasma Logistics Supervisor
Pay: $43.00 - 47.25/hr

Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 6am-6pm

Job Overview
The Senior Plasma Logistics Supervisor oversees daily operations within the Plasma Logistics Center, ensuring the safe receipt, handling, verification, storage, inventory management, and distribution of human blood plasma. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, company procedures, and quality standards while supporting departmental budgeting and resource planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the receipt, handling, verification, storage, and distribution of plasma in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), OSHA regulations, and company standards.
  • Ensure all plasma shipments, production units, and lots meet quality, storage, and production requirements and are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Manage the identification, removal, tracking, and disposition of plasma units deemed unacceptable for further processing.
  • Interview, hire, train, and supervise Plasma Operations employees, while monitoring performance, employee relations, and quality standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and update departmental SOPs to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Oversee inventory transactions related to plasma storage and movement, maintaining inventory accuracy at established targets.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including Manufacturing, Quality Operations, Freight Carriers, and other departments to resolve operational issues and support business objectives.
  • Partner with Quality Operations to evaluate incoming plasma and determine product disposition, including acceptable, discrepant, or non-conforming material.
  • Assist management with annual budget preparation and monthly expense monitoring.
  • Support resource planning activities, including staffing, equipment, and supply requirements, to meet operational demands.
Required Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution operations.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes related to raw plasma.
  • Thorough knowledge of cGMP regulations and other applicable compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High sense of urgency and adaptability to changing business needs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, materials inventory planning, or distribution.
  • Experience within plasma, biologics, pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
