Support attorneys through the claims process and beyond at a prominent Long Island personal injury law firm. Responsibilities include:
• Assist with initial client consultations, policy review, and assessment of supporting physician documentation
• Gather medical records and prepare initial claim submissions
• Prepare and manage proof of loss documentation
• Draft pleadings and legal documents
• Handle No-Fault cases and medical requests
• Maintain communications with high-level professionals and clients
• Manage medical and financial information with discretion and accuracy
• Support attorneys across Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Workers' Compensation, and Mass Tort practice areas
Requirements:
• Associate's degree or higher in Legal Studies or related field
• 4–10 years of paralegal or legal support experience at a law firm
• Prior experience working on the plaintiff's side of personal injury matters is a significant advantage
• Experience with No-Fault claims, medical requests, and pleading preparation
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and legal software
• Comfort working with medical and financial information
• Process-driven approach to legal support
• Ability to interact professionally with attorneys and senior stakeholders
• Bilingual capability (English and Spanish preferred)
• Available for full-time, in-office work
