Morgan Law Group | Newport Beach, CA | Full-Time | Hybrid Available | Minimum 3 Days On Site

Help families protect what matters most while building your career with an established Newport Beach estate planning firm.

Morgan Law Group is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Senior Paralegal to support clients through the estate planning process with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful client interaction, precise document preparation, and the satisfaction of helping families make thoughtful decisions about their future.

This role is ideal for an estate planning paralegal or legal assistant who is confident drafting estate planning documents, comfortable communicating directly with clients, and ready to be part of a respected, collaborative, long-term practice.

About the Role

As the Estate Planning Senior Paralegal, you will play an important role in supporting the firm’s estate planning process from initial information gathering through document preparation, signing meetings, and follow-up.

You will work closely with the attorney and team members to draft and assemble comprehensive estate plans, communicate with clients, support weekly planning meetings, and help ensure each client receives a calm, organized, and high-touch experience.

This is not simply a document production role. The right candidate will bring strong technical ability, warmth with clients, careful follow-through, and pride in creating a polished experience for families navigating important planning decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and assemble estate planning documents, including revocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, deeds, and related ancillary documents using WealthDocx.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information, respond to questions, provide updates, and support a smooth planning process.
  • Lead estate plan signing meetings with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the attorney to finalize comprehensive estate plans.
  • Participate in weekly estate planning and staff meetings.
  • Maintain clear and timely client correspondence by phone, email, and in person.
  • Help ensure client files, documents, and follow-up items are accurate, organized, and completed on schedule.
  • Support a high-quality client experience through responsiveness, care, and strong attention to detail.

Requirements

About You

You are an experienced estate planning paralegal or legal assistant who takes pride in doing work that truly matters to clients and families.

You are detail-oriented, dependable, and highly organized. You enjoy structure, accuracy, and follow-through, but you also understand the importance of warmth, patience, and clear communication when working with clients.

You are comfortable taking ownership of your work, managing multiple priorities, and keeping documents and deadlines moving forward. You communicate professionally, work well with a team, and bring a steady, service-minded approach to each client interaction.

You are looking for more than a drafting position. You want to be part of a respected estate planning practice where your experience is valued, your role has meaningful client impact, and your professional growth is supported.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an estate planning law firm required.
  • Experience drafting estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, deeds, and related planning documents.
  • Experience with WealthDocx preferred.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • High comfort level with technology and learning new systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow matters through to completion.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Dependable, professional, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • California notary public preferred, but not required.
