Shape what"s next for digital entertainment. Prime Video is one of the world"s leading streaming marketplaces, and this role puts you at the center of its next chapter.
As a Senior New Initiatives Development Manager you"ll launch a new growth initiative from the ground up, and in parallel own cross-business mechanisms that enable Content Acquisition Managers in all business lines to drive licensing for new product features. This is a builder"s role. You"ll create something that doesn"t exist yet, negotiate across studios and partners, and bring clarity to cross-functional teams spanning Product, Tech, Marketing, Advertising, Legal, and Operations.
Role Summary: The team owns Prime Video"s studio relationships in its transactional businesses, across licensing and partner management. You"ll lead two pillars that shape where the business goes next:
Growth Initiative: You"ll stand up a new transactional initiative from scratch, defining which partners to pursue, building the acquisition strategy, and closing deals. You"ll partner with Product and Tech to shape the roadmap and unlock monetization, including advertising revenue. You"ll drive promotional strategy, integrate Prime Member benefits, and identify cross-service opportunities. As Amazon"s primary contact for these new partner types, you"ll build executive relationships and lead complex, multi-party negotiations. You own the P&L (modeling, forecasting, performance optimization) and will coordinate onboarding end-to-end with Partner Ops, Legal, and Digital Supply Chain.
Cross-Business Licensing Mechanisms: You"ll build and maintain the licensing frameworks, SOPs, and segmentation models that CAMs across all business lines (US and International) rely on daily when licensing for new product features. You"ll work across Product, Legal, Partner Ops, and Supply Chain to ensure new initiatives move smoothly from concept to partner execution. That includes standing up governance (rights reviews, approvals tracking, documentation) and ensuring partner communications are properly sequenced and clearly structured.
