We provide quality resources in four specialty areas: Information Technology (IT), Clinical Research, Rehabilitation Therapy and Nursing.Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Network EngineerDuration: 6+ MonthsLocation: Raritan NJJob Description and Responsibilities :• This position will be responsible for day-to-day network and telecomm operations (Incident Management, Problem Management, Sev1's, escalations) in the NA region.• The role will entail applying deep technical knowledge to help manage outsourced vendors in all aspects of Operations.• Additional responsibilities include process development, network Risk Management and involvement in base business network projectsResponsibilities:• Support of network and telecomm Operations (Incident Management, Problem Management, Sev1's, escalations) in the North American region• Process development and review for network and telecomm domains• Risk Management – help log, prioritize and drive remediation of Risks in the environment• Support of network base business projectsEducation:Minimum BS/BA in Computer Science or related field of study. An advanced degree desiredExperience:10+ years professional experience supporting a large network and telecomm environment.Other Skills & Certifications :• Strong technical knowledge in the areas of data networking, IP Telephony and TDM voice technologies. This includes firewalls, load balancers, WAN acceleration, and proxies• Experience developing, reviewing and refining Operational processes• Ability to work with outside vendors, agencies or organizations• Ability to drive Incidents to resolution through management of support vendors• Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast paced environment• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Strong Problem Management skills• Provide coaching and guidance to peers, junior team• Budgeting experience• Ability to quickly prioritize tasks• Decision Making/Problem Solving Skills• Experience working in a regulated environment• Ability to take ownership and manage requests, problems and opportunities with a sense of urgency and under pressure• Knowledge of ITIL framework- certifications desired• Advanced Cisco Certifications highly desirable – CCNP / CCDP / CCIE preferredQualificationsMinimum BS/BA in Computer Science or related field of study.
