Description

Senior Network EngineerDRCG is seeking a highly motivated, Senior Network Engineer, to support a federal customer's goals to modernize and transform their IT environment to efficiently deliver new technologies to their workforce.The Senior Network Engineer provides Tier 3 engineering and operational support for classified and unclassified networks across a large, globally distributed enterprise. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong operational discipline, and the ability to collaborate across security, cloud, and infrastructure teams while supporting mission-critical systems.The engineer will support hundreds of domestic and international locations and operate across on-premise datacenters, campus networks, WAN, and cloud environments.Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Provide support to classified and unclassified Tier 3 senior-level support for the design, implementation, and deployment of network-specific technologies across the DEA Enterprise environment, consisting of hundreds of locations worldwide.Provide engineering and operational support for cloud providers, including AWS and Azure, on-premise data centers, campus networks, Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Networks (DMVPN), Firewall, Layer 2/3, wireless networks, network applications installed on client workstations, optimization of various LAN and WAN environments, data center load balancing, and network access security to include 802.1x and Cisco ISE.Requirements:7+ years of relevant experienceExperience designing and supporting network access security solutionsExpert knowledge of Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking including routing, switching, and troubleshooting at scaleStrong experience with LAN, WAN, and global network optimizationUnderstand Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN) environmentsStrong expertise with 802.1X authenticationHands-on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)Experience providing engineering and operational support for cloud networking in Amazon Web Services and Microsoft AzureStrong understanding of VMWare environmentsExperience providing design, implementation, and deployment of network-specific technologiesAbility to operate effectively in high-pressure, mission-critical environmentsStrong troubleshooting methodology and root-cause analysis skillsExperience supporting strict change management and approval processesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong documentation discipline and operational rigorCCIE or CCNP certification is preferredEducation:Bachelors degree in a related field or relevant work experienceATR is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) who will provide equal employment opportunity to employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, color, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, veteran status, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family structure, genetic information, or mental or physical disability
