Overview:
A high-growth technology organization is seeking a Senior Network Engineer II to join its collaborative Technical Operations team. This hands-on role is critical to designing, building, and modernizing a secure, scalable, hybrid infrastructure that spans on-premise and multi-cloud environments. What You’ll Do:
- Design, implement, and manage hybrid network infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments
- Own technical initiatives supporting infrastructure modernization, automation, and observability
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues, break/fix, and system escalations
- Administer Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama, Juniper/Cisco switching and routing
- Configure and maintain VPNs, VLANs, wireless solutions, and authentication protocols (LDAP, RADIUS)
- Automate routine processes using Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar scripting tools
- Collaborate with Security, Architecture, Engineering, and Support teams
- Participate in rotational on-call support and high-impact change events
- Create and maintain documentation, technical diagrams, and change records
What You’ll Bring:
- 6+ years of enterprise-level network/system engineering experience
- Advanced expertise with:
- Palo Alto firewalls & Panorama
- Juniper or Cisco routing/switching
- VLANs, OSPF/BGP, VPNs (IPSec), 802.1x, NAC
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers
- Experience with scripting and infrastructure automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform)
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments
- Working knowledge of observability tools and network monitoring
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Preferred certifications: PCNSE, JNCIE, CCSP, ITIL
