Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Orem UT.SummaryThe objective of this position is to provide operational support to the enterprise-wide network infrastructure. This is achieved by designing implementing and supporting various local area network LAN and wide area networking WAN technologies within a large and diverse enterprise network environment.Essential Job Functions Senior Network Engineer will design configure install monitor and support various networking hardware and software solutions that support business applications Monitor the network environment and alerts to maintain high availability and system performance Lead the planning configuration and installation of various network infrastructure technologies including switching routing firewalling and VPN Evaluate new technologies compile comparative data and make recommendations to management for improved systems performance and availability Troubleshoot and resolve highly technical problems in a complex network environment Respond to after-hours reports of major problems as required As a Senior Network Engineer you will assist in the continuous design configuration and implementation of enterprise network security systems policies and mechanisms Assist in the definition and implementation of security policies and procedures Ensure corporate data security and integrity
