    Required Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Protection & Control (P&C) or Substation Engineering.
    • Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
    • 3 5 years of metering experience, including:
      • Reading protection and control drawings.
      • Understanding CTs, PTs, CVTs, and their types, accuracy, and burden.
      • Knowledge of Schneider Electric ION-8650 meters.
      • Understanding of peer-to-peer metering schemes.
      • Familiarity with transformer loss compensation (Fe, Cu), generator tie line loss, and shared losses among technologies or PPA customers.
      • Ability to program meters or create metering templates.
    • Experience coordinating with a variety of stakeholders.
    • Experience managing third-party engineering companies.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Over 5 years of P&C/Substation/Metering Engineering experience.
    • Over 2 years of formal project management experience.
    • Experience with commercial or contractual agreements.
    • Experience working for ISOs (e.g., SPP, MISO, CAISO).
    • Experience reviewing LGIAs, PPAs, and retail service provider agreements.
    • Experience in substation design and metering standards.
    • Experience bench testing meters.
    • Familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, MV90).
    • Experience with:
      • Schneider Electric ION-8650 meters.
      • ION Setup and PME software.
      • SEL-735 meters and AcSELerator software.
      • Orion LX interface.
    • Knowledge of IEEE-519 2014 Harmonic Standard.
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Master's in Engineering Management.
    • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
    • PMP Certification.

    Responsibilities:
    • Interpret and organize customer, commercial, and internal metering requirements.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement technical metering requirements into engineering designs.
    • Evaluate and apply metering best practices across a range of projects.
    • Oversee the work of external Metering Engineers of Record (EORs) and perform PM duties.
    • Provide design, development, and engineering support.
    • Track and report on project contracts and design milestones.
    • Support and enforce internal policies and standards.
