You will work as part of a team of creative cross-disciplinary engineers to meet project and customer's requirements and gain exposure to a wide variety of systems from airborne remote sensing to industrial automation and everything in between. At Quartus, you will be involved in the entire project lifecycle from concept and design to build and test.Essential Job FunctionsDevelop and validate dynamic system models (plant models and black-box parametric models) using Simulink and MATLABDesign and implement control systems for robotic and opto-mechanical platformsPerform precision mechanical design including tolerance analysis, design for manufacturing, and detailed CAD using SolidWorksSupport system integration, build, and experimental validationPreferred QualificationsExperience with Universal Robots cobots and Beckhoff PLCsFamiliarity with CoppeliaSimBackground in machine vision and MATLAB Image Processing ToolboxHands‑on experience building, testing, and debugging complex electromechanical systemsMinimum Education & ExperienceBS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Controls, or related field (advanced degree in Intelligent Systems preferred)6-10 years of experience in robotics and control systemsExperience with system identification and dynamic modelingExpertise in precision mechanical design and engineering documentationMust be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)#J-18808-Ljbffr
