Seeking a Senior Estimator to support its growing preconstruction team. This position will play a critical role in pursuing negotiated work, building client relationships, and helping drive the company's continued expansion.
The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical estimating experience, relationship-building skills, and the ability to support projects from conceptual budgeting through final proposal.
Responsibilities
- Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Develop budgets, quantity takeoffs, and pricing strategies
- Participate in client meetings and preconstruction discussions
- Support negotiated and design-build pursuits
- Coordinate with project management, operations, and executive leadership
- Assist in proposal development and project handoff
Qualifications
- 7+ years of mechanical estimating experience
- Commercial, healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, or institutional project experience
- Design-build and negotiated work experience preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to develop relationships with owners, contractors, and design teams
