Our teams are driven by a shared passion for delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient projects that make an impact in the communities we serve.What You'll DoCollaborate with Project Architects, Engineers and Construction Managers to provide innovative design solutions to projects during all phases of designInterface with clients, owners and contractorsDesign air-side mechanical systems, including DX and chilled water AHU's, ductwork sizing, and computer room air-handline units.Design water-side mechanical systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and pipingProvide HVAC load calculationsResponsible for project phasing plans including temporary measures to maintain services in our client's live facilitiesFacilitate facility evaluations, engineering studies, and trouble shootingTrain, coach and mentor less experienced staffWhat You BringBS in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical EngineeringMust be a Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer in at least one state.At least 10 years of related experience with at least 2 years of data center mechanical design experience.AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360 experience a plus, but not requiredOrganizational skills with attention to detailStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenInterest in working in a collaborative team environmentAbility to perform site walks in active facilities, including navigating mechanical rooms, rooftops, ladders, and equipment areas.Capability to travel between job sites and client facilities as needed.TravelThis position may require occasional overnight travel depending on project locations and client needs.Why You'll Love Working HereAt GBA, you'll be part of a team that values innovation, integrity, technical excellence, and mission critical expertise.
