No sponsorship is available for this position.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesPerform design and engineering work in various areas of the mechanical discipline, primarily HVAC.Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to produce final construction drawings and details.Develop conceptual designs and cost estimates for early stages of the project life cycle.Assess and design building ventilation systems for heat removal and indoor air quality.Specify mechanical equipment.Design plumbing and building utility piping systems.Summarize engineering results in written reports and presentations of high quality.Visit job sites as required for projects involving upfit of existing systems; expect day trips and occasional overnight domestic trips.Adhere to policies and standards in Ramboll's Project Execution Manual.Promote and maintain a safe working environment following Ramboll's Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.Licensed Professional Engineer.10+ years of experience in engineering and design of HVAC systems.Working knowledge of fire protection requirements for industrial facilities (IFC, NFPA standards, FM Global guidelines).Desire to work in chemical, power, and industrial market segments.Desire and ability to work at industrial facilities gathering data for designs ( Detail oriented.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability and desire to work in a fast‑paced environment.Experience with Autodesk Revit preferred.Compensation and BenefitsBase salary range: $110,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on location, skills, and experience.
