The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving hard problems, and brings a strong foundation in structural or mechanical design- particularly in fast-paced, iterative development environments.If you've been looking for a place where your designs turn into flight hardware fast, and your voice shapes the product from day one, this is that kind of opportunity.What You'll Do:Lead the design and integration of mechanical or structural hardware across key vehicle systemsOwn flight-critical components through full lifecycle: requirements, design, analysis, build, test, and integrationContribute to load paths, material selection, structural interfaces, and design-for-manufacture decisionsWork closely with test and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and validate performanceMentor junior engineers and contribute to building a high-standards, delivery-focused culture What You Bring:6+ years in aerospace, mechanical, or structural engineering roles (spaceflight experience strongly preferred)Strong CAD proficiency (NX preferred) and familiarity with FEA or structural analysis toolsExperience with design of composite and/or metallic flight hardwareHands‑on involvement in taking hardware through manufacturing and testSystems mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑moving teamEnthusiasm for early‑stage programs and building things that flyThis role is on‑site in the greater Seattle area.#J-18808-Ljbffr
