Job Summary
The Manufacturing Process Engineer specializes in creating and implementing various methods and procedures with the purpose of reducing costs and improving productivity. Through rigorous research and planning, they discover what parts of the manufacturing process can be optimized in a way that would reduce costs and increase the total output. The job is typically for professionals with extensive experience in manufacturing, as it requires deep knowledge of various related processes. This position will sit onsite in our Chandler, AZ location.
Responsibilities Include
• Creating manufacturing processes after analyzing the requirements of the finished product • Developing, altering, and testing various manufacturing methods • Consulting with equipment vendors • Analyzing various aspects of manufacturing with the goal of finding elements that can be improved • Conducting research and assessing various manufacturing processes by using their knowledge regarding product fabrication, assembly, design, and materials, as well as feedback from equipment vendors and operators • Confirming the quality of both products and processes by establishing the standards that they have to meet and developing various testing methods to confirm it • Helping the manufacturing companys management make strategic decisions by helping them determine the costs of labor, production, and materials, as well as future costs • Helping their hiring company keep high-quality standards and comply with government regulations • Training and assisting various other technicians regarding product design and development
