1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsDirect message the job poster from AkkodisAkkodis is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for a 6+ months Contract position with a client located in Minneapolis, MNPay Range: $50-60/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Job Description - Key Responsibilities• Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production.• Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements.• Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.• Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.• Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.• Assist development of new products.• Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.• Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.MUST HAVE:• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics• 5+ years experienceWE VALUE:• Product or process engineering experience.• Product assembly and test experience.• Experience with optics, sensors, and/or electronic assemblies.• Experience with product yield management and improvement.• Experience with programming and troubleshooting equipment with PLC controllers.• Experience in manufacturing of products for regulated industries (aerospace, medical, automotive).• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.• Ability to balance priorities in daily tasks and strategic projects.• Hands on work ethic.
