Description

    • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
    • Support Production with machine setups, trouble shooting, operator training and other functions
    • Identify, implement, and document process improvements including cycle time, tool life, process capability, and automation.
    • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues in the manufacturing process.
    • Design and optimize workflows to reduce waste and improve performance.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing operations.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
    • Collaborate with customers to identify and suggest modifications to customer specifications to improve cost, quality, and/or lead time
    • Work with the quoting team to assign accurate costs to new parts based on materials, labor, and production complexity. Provide technical input to support accurate and competitive pricing for new products.

Profile

A successful Senior Manufacturing Engineer should have:

  • A strong background in machining and manufacturing processes, with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for process design and optimization.
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards applicable to manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
