Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on improving processes, increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and helping complex products move seamlessly from design into production. If Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, NPI, and cross-functional collaboration are your strengths, this is an opportunity to make a measurable impact.

You'll work with engineering, production, quality, inventory, and supply chain teams to improve manufacturing operations while supporting highly engineered products in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

* Improve manufacturing processes to increase quality, efficiency, and throughput
* Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kanban, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Drive manufacturing readiness for new product introductions
* Optimize Bills of Operations, production workflows, and capacity planning
* Partner with engineering teams on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT)
* Work with contract manufacturers and suppliers to improve quality and performance
* Develop manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards
* Analyze production metrics, identify root causes, and implement lasting improvements



What We're Looking For

✔ 10+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
✔ High-tech manufacturing experience (electronics, aerospace, defense, semiconductor, RF, or similar industries)
✔ Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies
✔ Experience with ISO 9001 manufacturing environments
✔ Familiarity with PCB assembly, fabrication, machining, or sheet metal manufacturing
✔ ERP system experience and production planning knowledge
✔ Experience working across engineering, quality, production, and supply chain teams

Bonus Points

* RF products or electronics manufacturing
* Six Sigma certification
* Vantage ERP experience
* Prototype or fixture design experience
* IPC Class 3 manufacturing knowledge
