We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support advanced aerospace component production within a complex milling (prismatic) environment.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll lead manufacturing process development, optimize production, and work directly with 5-axis CNC machining to drive precision and performance.

What You'll Do:
Lead manufacturing process development for new aerospace components
Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives
Develop and prove out:
CNC programs (5-axis)
Operation sequences
Tooling and work holding strategies
Detailed work instructions
Support and improve existing production processes through hands-on shop engagement
Estimate:
Time standards
Labor requirements
Cost and production efficiency
Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and capital equipment
Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and suppliers to resolve issues
Support automated manufacturing cells to improve efficiency and reduce variability
Lead projects and potentially own the engineering function for a manufacturing cell
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree + 5+ years experience OR Associate's + 8+ years OR High School Diploma/GED + 10+ years experience
Strong expertise in 5-axis CNC milling programming (CAD/CAM)
NX experience preferred
End-to-end manufacturing process experience (raw material finished product)
Hands-on machining experience (setup and operation)
Experience with materials such as:
Aluminum
Titanium
Stainless steel
Strong knowledge of:
Cutting tools
Work holding
Fixture design
Project leadership experience
Strong communication and documentation skills
