Position Summary

Firestone Airide (FSA) is a global manufacturer of air suspension solutions with operations in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. The Senior Manager, SAP Business Process is responsible for serving as FSAs business liaison with its parent company IT function (Bridgestone Americas or BSAM), leading customer/vendor SAP integrations via EDI, and overseeing FSAs SAP data governance processes. This highly visible role serves as a key partner for cross-functional FSA leadership as the business operates end-to-end in SAP. The position reports to FSAs Global Finance Director.

Responsibilities

  • Manage current team of 2 comprised of a Business Integration Lead (currently focused on EDI integrations) and a Master Data Analyst (currently focused on SAP material master).

  • Serve as FSAs business liaison with BSAM IT functions.

  • Based on strategic direction from FSAs leadership team, monitor progress and status of open FSA projects with BSAM IT, solicit input from the business to support resolution, and coordinates testing and support from the business as required.

  • Address gaps in understanding of business requirements by working directly with FSA functional leads to confirm requirements and communicate those back to BSAM IT.

  • Propose process and system improvements to address cross-functional gaps and better align usage of SAP with business goals.

  • Lead customer/vendor SAP integration via EDI.

  • Manage the Business Integration Leads role as liaison between the BSAM IT team and FSA business users for onboarding and maintenance of EDI connections.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop priority for data connections, track progress, resolve data issues, and provide business sign-off for testing validation.

  • Provide oversight of FSAs SAP data governance processes.

  • Manage the Master Data Analysts direct ownership of material master.

  • Oversee compliance of vendor, customer, pricing, and other master data processes directly managed by other functions to improve quality of SAP data.

  • Drive document creation and management, including cross-functional alignment, to guide increased accountability, understanding, and usage of SAP data.

Candidates must already be in location the greater Nashville, TN area.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Information Technology, MIS, Accounting).

  • 7+ years of experience in data governance, process documentation, and/or ERP related work.

  • 3+ years managing a team and/or project management experience.

  • Strong expertise in SAP and advanced Microsoft Office skills required.

  • Confidence in project management and influencing change, specifically driving cross-functional alignment spanning different geographies, cultures, and languages.

  • Ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues, particularly for non-IT and leadership level teammates.
