This position helps provide and maintain facilities which give Church members places where they can worship, teach, learn, pray together, make and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances. Each Church facility that is built and/or maintained should 1) Provide a spiritual setting for members to worship, and 2) Present an image of reverence and dignity in the community.

To manage and be responsible for the staff and workload of various disciplines within the architecture and engineering division as defined as a ''Section''. Provide direct client contact and service to ensure customer projects are completed on time, within budget and of the quality appropriate to the client. Clients are defined as the Presiding Bishopric which include Headquarters Campus, Special Projects and the Worldwide Meetinghouse program, Temple Department, Church Education System, Missionary Department, Welfare Department and Materials Management Department. Provide exemplary leadership within the section for ensuring the goals and direction of the Department and Division are implemented.

BS, BA from an accredited college or university, preferably in engineering, architecture, construction, facilities, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 15 years of experience in directing and being responsible for complex projects and project staff, Thorough understand of personnel and project management principles, Ability to communicate effectively with ecclesiastical leaders, clients, management and staff, Excellent writing and presentation skills, including knowledge and proficiency in Word, Power Point, Excel. Commitment to research and understand industry best practices in management and technical aspects of Section focus and Must be a role model for staff.
