    Own the client relationship and the story behind the numbers

    • Lead complex, multi-client accounting engagements under GAAP standards
    • Manage client communications, deliverables, and expectations with confidence
    • Ensure financials are client-ready — accurate, clear, and delivered on time
    • Review and deliver high-quality financial reporting packages with accuracy and consistency


    Lead, develop, and protect the performance of your pod

    • Mentor Senior Accountants, Staff Accountants, and Bookkeepers toward professional growth
    • Own team utilization and workload decisions to balance capacity and engagement mix
    • Build a team culture that holds both people and standards in high regard


    Drive delivery quality and manage risk before it becomes a client issue

    • Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting across multiple client accounts
    • Review and approve financial packages, analyses, and client-facing deliverables
    • Use scorecard metrics to identify risk early and drive structural fixes


    Improve the systems and workflows your team runs on

    • Identify, design, and implement process improvements across workflows, documentation, and internal handoffs
    • Lead with clarity — turn ambiguity into actionable structure for your team


    Own your portfolio’s performance and engagement health

    • Monitor revenue, gross margin, scope tension, and client expectations vs. engagement reality
    • Escalate and address issues proactively — not reactively


    Compensation & Benefits

    Employment Type: Permanent | Full Time | Salaried, Exempt

    Compensation: Negotiable

    Schedule: Monday through Friday


    Reports To: COO
