The Operations Strategy team within Operational Services plays a critical role in driving transformation across the firm, advancing initiatives that enhance efficiency, optimize processes, and enable enterprise-wide strategic programs. As a Senior Manager, Operational Services, Strategy & Transformation, you will operate at the center of this work, partnering closely with senior leaders to bring strategy to life through disciplined execution.
In this role, you'll lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that shape operational performance and business outcomes. You'll translate high-level strategic priorities into structured, actionable plans, defining scope, milestones, ownership, and dependencies, while building alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, apply structured thinking, and maintain momentum across competing priorities will be essential as you guide initiatives from concept through delivery.
You will play a key role in creating clarity from complexity, using data and insights to inform decisions, proactively identifying risks, and driving solutions that keep workstreams on track. Through strong communication and executive storytelling, you'll develop materials that influence decision-making and ensure transparency across leadership. At the same time, you'll help reinforce a collaborative, accountable culture by aligning partners, facilitating productive discussions, and supporting the development of team members.
Reporting to a Director in Operations Strategy, this is an opportunity to lead meaningful work that spans the enterprise, build relationships across the organization, and contribute to how Schwab evolves and scales its operations for the future.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or program delivery
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering against complex milestones
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work with data and develop insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level materials
- Experience managing projects or workstreams from planning through execution
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a proactive mindset
- Demonstrated success translating analysis into execution, ensuring insights and recommendations are converted into actions that advance strategic priorities
- Experience aligning stakeholders and driving outcomes across cross-functional teams through effective communication, influence, and collaboration without direct authority.
- Success transforming complex, evolving challenges into clear strategies, actionable plans, and meaningful results
- Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree a plus
