This position is responsible for strengthening the management of operational and insurable risks across Dyno Nobel's global operations by embedding structured risk management practices within the business. Other duties include:Contribute to managing major hazard risks across Dyno Nobel's global operationsSupport the identification of critical controls and strengthening operational risk governance in high-hazard environmentsProvide subject-matter expertise in operational risk management analysisSupport management in improving risk governance, reducing loss exposure and enhancing the quality of risk insights provided to senior leadershipEvaluate operational risk exposures and loss scenarios from an insurable risk perspective, supporting decisions on risk mitigation, retentionSupport the development and maintenance of risk registers, risk dashboards and risk reportingSupport the verification of control effectiveness and continuous improvement of risk mitigation practicesDevelop and support risk dashboards, analysis, and reporting to support monitoring of material and operational risk trends across global operationsPartner with operational and functional leadership to strengthen the management of material risksPartners with business units and functions to embed risk thinking into operational planning, project evaluation and strategic initiativesWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, manufacturing risk management or a related discipline. Engineering or technical degrees are strongly preferredPostgraduate qualifications in risk management, engineering, business or a related field are advantageous.
